I recently picked up some Tyranid terrain from Temu and, all things considered, it's been a surprisingly good purchase. The pieces shown here are from two sets combined, which gives enough variety to fill out a decent section of the table without feeling too repetitive.
The prints arrived with the usual FDM layer lines, but nothing a bit of hobby work couldn't address. I used the same flour-based texture paste that I've relied on for other terrain projects to soften the more noticeable print lines and add a bit of organic texture to the surfaces.
For painting, I stuck to the same approach I use on my Tyranid army: speed paints over a simple basecoat to establish most of the color and shading quickly. The only real difference was the final detailing step. Instead of drybrushing, I used a sponge to build up highlights and variation across the surface, which helped keep the terrain looking more irregular and organic.
Overall, I'm quite happy with how it turned out. It's inexpensive terrain that paints up well, matches the army without much effort, and adds a lot of atmosphere to the table.
