[hobby] Magnetizing bases with hot glue

Look at that amazing entombed magnet. Perfection.

I start by using a metal tray with a silicon pad, dropping a smidge of hot glue and letting the magnet sink in as it attracts to the metal tray underneath.

Then I smudge hot glue over the hollow base and place the model on top of the magnet.

Let it sit there for a bit until the glue is cooled off.

Perfect fit every time and flush to the base.

I even use this technique to magnetize bigger pieces, but then instead of a silicon mat I will use small cutouts of Baking Sheet.
