I've spent some time to craft a cool set of cheap cover markers for my games of Blackstone Fortress. Sure they don't look as cool as 3D-printed ones, but they were dirt cheap and fun to make.
I've simply used a sponge and cheap acrylic paints from the dollar store to finish them and they should add a new dimension to our games.
I've crafted one for every single variation, cutting small chipboard rectangles and gluing them at the edges with superglue. After reinforcing them with additional panels using PVA glue they become fairly sturdy after drying.
