Another game where I put my wife's Tzeench demons against my buddy's Death Guard in Open War.
The cards and deployment this time:
- Deployment: Spread out vs deep.
- Invasion: 2 objectives, one per deployment.
- Warp Storm: +1 to deny and cast Psychic powers.
The Deathguard take positions in the center of their deployment and string out Poxwalkers to prevent Pink Horrors from deepstriking near.
Pinkbottom the spellbook is well hidden behind some fenced off area in the back of their deployment.
Tzeench demons materialize in the heart of the Battlefield.
The Pink Horrors screen the characters and the only valid targets are either them or the Lord of Change.
The Deathguard slowly advance up the field in hopes of containing the demons at bay.
They are heralded by Plaguemarines.
Plague drones zip across the battlefield as fast as they can, their target is to contest the Tzeenchian objective far away across the table.
The large demons break out from formation and prepare to crash against the assembled Deathguard.
A large group of Terminators teleports in the Deathguard backfield to close gaps and solidify that position.
The stench would be hard to cope for mortals, but the Demons of Tzeench can withstand that and worse.
A small group of horrors engages a Lord of Contagion left alone in the center of the battlefield.
A bloat drone charges in and intends to finish-off the Changeling.
The Lord of Change engages in combat at the center of the table.
A large group of Horrors materializes deep within the Deathguard territory and almost wipes out the Poxwalkers.
With the Poxwalkers still alive, the Bloated Drones manage to clear up the few Brimstone Horrors left at the Tzeench objective and snatch victory.
