Played a quick game against Death Guard to put the Horrors to the test.
Deployed in a line ready to charge those dreads (eventually).
The Death Guard list was built around those dreads.
Mine really hanged on the LoC performing well.
The new Death Guard models are huge! Makes the Leviathan look like a regular dread.
Turn 2 my 30x Pinks come in, ready to dish out the pain.
They clear the poxwalker screen with no trouble.
The Death Guard advances, the loss of the screens really hurt their plans. They charged the Plaguecrawler into my Pinks to tie them up in close combat.
The wounded LoC engaged the tank to avoid being shot by the Leviathans, but ended up exposed for a charge by the Demon Prince.
The second unit of pinks tries to put wounds on the Death Guard, but their plans are thwarted by high toughness.
The second unit of pinks gets deleted by the Leviathans and the characters are then slowly overpowered by the enemy high Toughness.
Game ends in a victory for the Death Guard, with 2 out of 3 objectives claimed by them.
