The Fire lane is clear, the battle is for control of a data package that will fall from orbit somewhere on the battlefield (The Comet open war objective).
The Bloated Drones quickly split-up to engage the Stealthsuits.
Luckily their stealth drones are able to soak up most of the damage and both squads survive with their Fusion Blasters primed to melt the Drones.
The Demon Prince engages a third Stealthsuit squad and doesn't fare better than the Drones.
Covered by Shield Drones and the Stealthsuits, the T'au Commander swoops in with his Nova Launcher ready!
All across the battlefield the Drones are targeted by concentrated fire.
The Deathguard Terminators slowly advance towards the center of the table, their fusillade taking a toll on the T'au Firewarriors.
The Firewarriors and Drones suffer many casualties, but the T'au manage to destroy the nearby Bloated Drone.
Dropping from the skies, Commander Shadowsun drops in with her Drones and trains her Fusion Blasters at the enemy.
The Kroot take positions in front of the Fire Warriors as the unit prepares to move towards the newly arrived objective marker.
The Data package drops to the left flank of the T'au formation, not quite at the center, but still towards the fearsome Terminators.
The terminators slowly move towards the formation and prepare for combat!

The T'au Commander waits for the right moment to strike behind the formation.
A wounded Bloat Drone flies in after dispatching the last of the Stealth suits across the Battlefield.
Baron Samedi, the Kroot Shaper leading the carnivores, barks commands to prepare for the charge of the Deathguard Terminators.
The T'au overwatch volley is devastating, even to the disgustingly resilient Deathguard terminators. only two are left to engage the enemy.
Pustus the Demon Prince flies in and charges Shadowsun.
The Kroot and terminators engage in melee, but they are too many and well-trained.
The Deamon Prince who made short work of Shadowsun now charges the T'au Commander at the back, but badly wounded already from that fight, dies to the precise overwatch fire as he is flying overhead and falls to the ground.
Finally, the few survivors of the furious assault train their weapons at a second squad of terminators that Teleported in near the data package objective.
With their disgusting resilience, the Terminators are able to hold off the scoring objective and the T'au are forced to retreat without it's valuable data or risk losing everything.
The Mantas swoop down and collect the survivors and the commander Shadowsun in critical condition. The Deathguard secure this sector under their command!
