[hobby] Warhammer 40k - Reinforcements

Putting some base colors on my wife's demons.

And got a Gauss Pylon counts-as from TTCombat (Cyber Defense Platform).

Its a very nice kit, quite the right scale, if only a few cm smaller, but the right looks and quite versatile.

Really happy with the looks, even if I'll come back and add some more details in the future.

A new edition dawns upon us and I couldn't resist making my own set of rules for Alternate Activations. I've compiled it all in a public document that you can find here , but you will find the full proposal in the post below. [alternate rules] Blackstone Fortress house-rules and custom behavior cards

So I've come up with a set of house rules to use with the base game to make the game more challenging. These house rules have a few concepts to them: Simplify and streamline the game, not create more rolls or book-keeping as much as possible Make hostiles tougher and scarier, not simply flood the board with them Make the game progressively different the deeper explorers are As you'll see, I was able to summarize most of them on the back of the Combat rulebook as references, so it hasn't really complicated the game at all, but it feels much more challenging when we are playing, especially at the latter levels where bad events and constant reinforcements are a reality.
